Ayurveda provides customized treatment plans based on an individual’s unique constitution (Prakriti) and the specific type and stage of arthritis (Vikriti). This personalized approach helps in effectively addressing the condition.

Ayurveda utilizes natural herbs and formulations with anti-inflammatory properties, such as turmeric (curcumin), ashwagandha, ginger, and boswellia. These help reduce joint inflammation and pain without the side effects associated with conventional anti-inflammatory drugs, Ayurvedic treatments include herbal oils and topical applications, such as Mahanarayan oil and Dhanwantharam oil, which are massaged into the affected joints to relieve pain and stiffness.

Therapies like Abhyanga (oil massage) and Pizhichil (oil bath) help in soothing the joints and providing pain relief.
